At the 14th Feedlot Technical and Economic Management Conference, held in Ribeirão Preto, SP, Limagrain sponsored a lecture by Professor Thiago Bernardes (UFLA). He spoke about innovations in snaplage and presented findings from recent studies on the subject, which is still relatively new in Brazil but rapidly gaining traction in large-scale feedlots.

“Last Sunday, March 10, we completed the harvest of one area for snaplage and another for whole-plant silage. With this, we will be able to assess the animal performance of LG 3055PRO3 in a Nelore feedlot (entire males) starting in May this year,”
said Rodrigo Menezes, animal nutrition veterinarian at LG Sementes.
In 2018, LG 3055 stood out among 12 hybrids from 7 companies, delivering:
the best economic performance (in terms of animal health),
the highest productivity (21 tons of ears per hectare),
and the greatest cost-efficiency (lowest cost per kg of dry matter produced).
