On September 24th, 2015, Limagrain inaugurated its Seed Processing Unit in Goianésia, Goiás. The new plant has an installed capacity to produce 1 million bags of corn seeds and 100,000 bags of sorghum seeds, with the potential to double this volume after the implementation of LG Sementes’ growth plan.
During the event, Limagrain Group’s president, Jean Yves Foucault, highlighted the French multinational’s investments through LG Sementes. The inauguration was also attended by the city’s mayor, Jalles Fontoura, and the State Secretary, Vilmar Rocha.
